Telchac Puerto is in the tropics enjoying warm weather year round. July and August are the rainy season with short but heavy rainfall, usually in the late afternoon. The rest of the year there is very little rain. There are the occaisional "Nortes" or cool north winds. If you visit in the fall or winter months, be sure to bring at least one sweatshirt or jacket. Bring sunscreen, our sun is HOT.
